Amnuay Silpa is one of the original and best performing bilingual schools in Bangkok

Our eighty year long history includes educating five Prime Ministers of Thailand.

We have always been committed to providing the highest standard of holistic bilingual education. We believe this to be the critical and profound step in preparing children for a successful future as tomorrow's leaders.

8th August 2014

Dear Parent/Guardian,

On the 20th and 21st August we will be holding ParentTeacher meetings for all grade levels from Years 7 and 13. The purpose of these meeting is for parents to the subject teachers and to find out what progress your children are making after completing the first quarter of the academic year.

We are spreading the parents meetings over two days to allow time for you to meet all of your child’s subject teachers. We also recognise the limitations on parking spaces.

Your child will be given an appointment sheet and we ask you to arrange suitable times when you will be able to meet your child’s subject teachers. In order for the teachers to meet as many parents as possible we ask you to limit your conversations to 5 minutes and to try and be a prompt as possible with the appointment times. We do recognise these cannot always be kept strictly to time. We thank you for your patience in this matter.

The times of the Parent Teachers Meetings are as follows:

Tuesday 26th August

15:00 – KS4 Presentation – AV Room. Year 8 & 9 Parents.

15:30 – 16:45 – Year 8 & 9 Parents meeting - 3rd Floor – Secondary Building

16:30 – 18:30 – Year 12, 7.1 & 7.2 Parents meeting - 3rd Floor – Secondary Building

Wednesday 27th August

15:30 – 16:45 – Year 10 & 11 Parents meeting - 3rd Floor – Secondary Building

16:30 – 18:30 – Year 13, 7.3 & 7.4 Parents meeting - 3rd Floor – Secondary Building

In addition to meeting subject teachers we will also be holding special information meetings with the Deputy Head for Academics, the Coordinator of Thai Studies and myself. This is to inform parents of students from Years 8 & 9 of the upper secondary school curriculum. Please see above.
