Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to the Primary Phase. It is a pleasure to welcome you and your child to Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 or Year 6.  Being the Headteacher of both Foundation and Primary Phases, I am so proud to be a consistent part of your child’s educational journey towards the Secondary Phase.

In the Primary Phase, we dive into the ‘learning pit’ to creatively and critically learn new strategies to overcome obstacles to challenges and importantly know how to apply knowledge and skills to new situations.  We are preparing our curious future leaders and innovators to act mindfully and responsibly.

Strengthening their communication skills, global awareness and respect for their Thai culture, the children take on a third language, Mandarin, along with Thai traditional dance and music. The children will explore the technological world as responsible digital citizens, as part of the Year 4 to Year 6 Bring Your Own Device programme.

As a community, parents and staff, we work together for our children to grow and thrive ready for their next adventure in the Secondary Phase.

Teaching & Learning Staff

The Primary Phase consists of a large intercultural team of dedicated and passionate staff who develop, coach and enhance the children through their global education and help celebrate their local traditions. We employ a committed team of staff who are determined to keep ANS the leading international standard bilingual school in Thailand.

Alignment of Thai and UK Curriculum Stages

The UK and Thai curricula provide a progressive and enjoyable learning experience for the children, following on from their Foundational years. The children are immersed in a bilingual setting and continuously learning through challenge and enquiry. Thai skills and content are structured around this UK learning approach. Mandarin Chinese is taught as the third language from Year 3 onwards and continues as a compulsory subject until Year 9.
